Description
Results and proposals in η-nuclei search in photon, hadron and ion induced reactions are briefly reviewed. Thus the question on the existence of η-nuclei is still open and new experimental attempts are necessary to get an answer. Among the proposal to find this new objects of meson nuclear physics the suggestion to observe them by detection of their πN decay pair is very promising. It is expected to have the large yield and the reliable correlation trigger to flight against the background in this case. On the other hand the use of high intensity beams of new accelerators or wide solid angle experimental equipment is needed for detail η-nuclei study
Abstract (Russian)
Кратко рассматриваются результаты и предложения по η-ядрам, изученным в фотонных, адронных и ионных реакциях. Таким образом, вопрос существования η-ядер еще открыт и новые экспериментальные попытки необходимы, чтобы получить ответ. Среди предложений о поиске этих новых объектов мезонной ядерной физики есть многообещающее предложение наблюдать их путем детектирования их πN распадных пар. Предполагается иметь большой выход и надежные корреляции триггера, чтобы бороться против шума в этом случае. С другой стороны, использование высокоинтенсивных пучков новых ускорителей или широкий угол экспериментального оборудования необходим для детального изучения η-ядерAdditional details
