Charge radii of nuclei near closed neutron shells

Description

The experimental values of charge radii differences for the nuclei near the magic neutron numbers are presented. These values are obtained from the isotopic shifts of the optical lines by the high resolution laser spectroscopy methods. The systematics of the charge radii differences for the nuclei near the closed neutron shells and the comparison with the droplet model calculations are discussed
