Application of position sensitive counter in the X-ray studies of martensic transformation in NiTi alloys

Description
The position sensitive detector and registration of X-ray patterns are described. The advantages and disadvantages of the position sensitive detector in X-ray analysis are shown. A temperature device for X-ray studies of the alloy formation course versus temperature has been also presented. From results obtained the phase identification was carried out indicating the existence of following phase transition: B2 → R → B19'
