On the Fokker-Planck solution for thermal noise in Josephson junctions

Description
It is shown that the application of the Fokker-Planck equation to the calculation of the d.c. current-voltage characteristic of a Josephson junction with thermal noise from the stochastic differential equation of the equivalent circuit presents an exact method of solution. (Auth.)
