Moving particle field
Description
It is shown that the electric field in front of a moving charge affects ever growing distances with increasing its velocity. The idea is suggested that this effect underlies the growth of coherent length with increasing particle energy. It is noted that the growth of formation length in fast hadron collisions is due to a similar reason. 2 refs.; 2 figs
