Nuclear reaction cross sections studied with heavy-ion beams

  • 1. Osaka Univ., Graduate School of Science, Toyonaka, Osaka (Japan)
  • 2. RIKEN, Wako, Saitama (Japan)

Description

Reaction cross sections for stable and unstable nuclei 10B, 16N, 22Al, 23Al, and 26P on CH2, Be, C and Al targets have been measured at 70 A-150 A MeV in order to study the nucleon density distributions and nuclear structures in these nuclei. The transmission method was employed using plastic, PPAC, Si, NaI(Tl), CsI(Na), and CsI(Tl) counters. (author)
