High-spin resonances in the two-nucleon transfer reaction 10B(14N,12C)12C

Description
Excitation functions of the two-nucleon transfer reaction 10B(14N, 12C)12C have been measured from Esub(CM) 0 5-32 MeV, corresponding to 24Mg excitation energies from 34-61 MeV. Striking resonant structures are observed at small angles near Esub(x)(24Mg) = 45 and 53 MeV wich correlate with the pronounced resonances in the 12C + 12C inelastic channels of possible Jsup(π) values 16+ and 18+.
