Description
Experimental cross sections are reported for single-electron capture by protons, He+ and He2+ ions from lithium at projectile energies between 0.257 and 8.2 keV. For proton projectiles the results are in agreement with recent theoretical predictions from both molecular- and atomic-orbital expansions, as well as with older data. For He2+ projectiles the results are in agreement with recent atomic- and molecular-orbital expansion results, but some disagreement is found with earlier experimental and theoretical results
