Thermal decomposition of NbO2F and formation heat of NbOsub(2)Fsub(C), Nbsub(3)Osub(7)Fsub(C) and NbOFsub(3G)

Description
Using the Kdsen effusion method with mass-spectral analysis of gaseous phase composition the process of thermal decomposition of NbO2F4 in the temperature range 730-1070 K has been investigated. It is shown, that the decomposition is accompanied by the formation of gaseous NbOF3, NbF5 and solid Nb3O7F, Nb2O5. The standard formation heats of crystal NbO2F and Nb3O7F, equal to - 1160.9+-16.0, - 3069.3+-18.0 respectively, and of gaseous NbOF3 - 1331.4+-8.7 kJ/mol, are calculated
