On-line automatic monitoring the fission product radioactivity in a nuclear reactor water coolant
Description
The results of complex testing the INVARIANT-02 automatic analyzer for NPP water coolant radioactivity monitoring in vitro and on sampler lines are presented. Radioactivity of nuclides has been monitored in three continuously extracted fractions. The time of operation regime stabilization is 8 minutes. Relative square deviation of radioactivity measurement results for the most of nuclides is <= 10% when the reactor and analyzer operate in stationary regimes. It is concluded that the described analyzer provides on-line monitoring of different radionuclide activity including a complex of reference radionuclides used for fuel can tightness control at present NPPs
