- 1. Toshiba Corp., Kawasaki, Kanagawa (Japan)
Description
Superconducting magnets are essential to the plasma confinement of magnetic fusion reactors. With plenty of experiences of the research and development for superconducting magnet technology, Toshiba has been engaged in the development of the superconducting magnet system for fusion reactors since the mid-1970s. Herein described are some of the results obtained along this line. (author)
