The production heat treatment of 1% CrMoV steam turbine rotors for creep resisting service
Description
Continuous cooling transformation of 1% CrMoV rotor steel. Relationship between strength and toughness. Effect of ferrite on creep resistance and ductility. Controlled and interrupted quenching, control of hardenability through Mn, Ni and austenitising temperature. Effect of tempering on hardness, microstructure and creep properties. Practical limits for astenitising temperature, quenching procedure and hardness after tempering. Properties of production rotors. (orig.)

Umwandlungsverhalten von Chrom-Molybdaen-Vanadin-Staehlen mit 1% Cr fuer Turbinenlaeufer bei kontinuierlicher Abkuehlung. Zusammenhang zwischen Zeitstandfestigkeit und Zaehigkeit. Einfluss von Ferrit auf das Zeitstandverhalten. Kontrollierte und unterbrochene Haertung, Beeinflussung der Haertbarkeit durch Mangan, Nickel und Austenitisierungstemperatur. Einfluss von Anlassbehandlung auf Haerte, Gefuege und Zeitstandeigenschaften. Grenzen fuer Austenitisierungstemperatur, Haertevorgang und Anlasshaerte.
