Vacuum alignment in the top quark condensation
Description
We study the vacuum alignment in the top quark condensate model which can be the two Higgs doublet model as the low energy effective theory. Although in the two Higgs doublet model the vacuum is not always aligned to conserve the U(1)em symmetry, we show through the effective potential that the vacuum in the top quark condensate model is actually aligned to conserve the U(1)em symmetry.
