Materials and processes for cast gas turbine blades
Description
This contribution, first of all, presents the fundamentals of the precision casting process according to the principle of the lost wax model and the lost cast shell. Then, the development of the process of the directional monocrystalline (columnar-crystalline) solidification of turbine blades is described. Moreover the possibilities of the strength increase of nickel base alloys are explained. (MM)

In diesem Beitrag werden zunaechst die Grundzuege des Feingussverfahrens nach dem Prinzip des verlorenen Wachsmodells und der verlorenen Formschale dargestellt. Danach wird die Entwicklung des Verfahrens der gerichteten einkristallinen (stengelkristallinen) Erstarrung von Turbinenschaufeln beschrieben. Ferner werden die Moeglichkeiten der Festigkeitssteigerung von Nickelbasislegierungen erlaeutert. (MM)Additional details
