Complexes of cerium(III), neodymium(III), and samarium(III) nitrates with 2,3-bis(diphenylphosphine)quinoxaline dioxide and triphenyl-N-(diphenylphopshoryl)phosphinimine

Description
The 1:2 and 1:3 (metal:ligand) complexes of 2,3-bis(diphenylphosphine)quinoxaline dioxide (L1) and triphenyl-N-(diphenylphopshoryl)phosphinimine (L2) with cerium(III), neodymium(III), and samarium(III) nitrates were synthesized. Their structures were studied by IR spectroscopy, 31P NMR and X-ray diffraction. In all the complexes the ligands are coordinated through P=O groups and L1 ligands characterized by chelate coordination with the metal. The behaviour of the complexes in solutions of CHCl3 and CH3CN is studied. The structure of [Nd(L1)2(NO3)2(H2O)]+NO3-·1.5EtOH complex is studied by X-ray diffraction. The crystals are monoclinic. Lattice parameters are determined. Coordination polyhedron of neodymium, [NdO9], is formed by oxygen atoms of four P=O groups of two L1 ligands, two bidentate NO3 groups and a water molecule
Abstract (Russian)
Получены комплексы диоксида 2,3-бис(дифенилфосфин)хиноксалина (L1) и трифенил-N-(дифенилфосфорил)фосфинимина (L2) с нитратами церия(III), неоди (III) и самария(III) состава металл:лиганд=1:2 и 1:3, их строение изучено методами ИК-, ЯМР31P спектроскопии и рентгеноструктурного анализа (РСА). Во всех изученных комплексах осуществляется координация лигандов за счет P=O-групп, при этом лиганд L1 координирован с металлом по хелатному типу. Изучено поведение комплексов в растворах CHCl3 и CH3CN. Для комплекса [Nd(L1)2(NO3)2(H2O)]+NO3-·1.5EtOH проведен РСА. Кристаллы моноклинные, определены параметры кристаллической решетки. Координационный полиэдр неодима [NdO9] образован атомами кислорода четырех P=O-групп двух лигандов L1, двух бидентатных NO3-групп и молекулой водыAdditional details
