Description
Highlights: • FOLH1 CC, MTR GG, and MTHFD1 GG carriers had better iAs methylation capacity. • Vitamin B12 interacted with FOLH1 c.223 T > C on iAs metabolism. • One-carbon nutrients and genetic variants may jointly influence iAs metabolism. Nutrients and genetic polymorphisms participating in one-carbon metabolism may explain interindividual differences in inorganic arsenic (iAs) methylation capacity, which in turn may account for variations in susceptibility to iAs-induced diseases.
