Photoproduction of heavy hadrons
Description
A model for the photoproduction of hadrons that belong to families of bound states of heavy quarks is discussed. Kinematical factors, which are calculated in a peripheral production model, are the important ingredients in determining the variation of the cross sections between the families of different quark states. This model can accommodate deviations from the vector-meson-dominance approach. The relation between these two models is discussed. Using the parameters determined by photoproduction of psi and charmed hadrons the photoproduction of UPSILON and its associated family of heavy hadrons is estimated. (Auth.)
