Surface channeling of atoms at the expense of Van der Waals forces

  • 1. Kievskij Gosudarstvennyj Universitet im. T.Shevchenko, Kiev (Ukraine)

Description

It has been analysed theoretically the possibilities of orientational motion of neutral atoms near the surfaces of crystal bodies at the expense of Van-der-Waals forces. It has been shown that surface channeling regime allowed to involve a comparatively large part of atomic beam which on one side promotes its practical usage and on the other side allows to specify parameters of the very Van-der-Waals interaction
