Observation of the loop-seal-clearing with needle probes in the PMK-NVH integral system of Budapest Nuclear Research Institute

Description
The Rossendorf Central Institute for Nuclear Research carried out investigations for the development of a system for measuring water-steam mixture parameters by means of needle-shaped conductivity probes, which is to be used in thermohydraulic model test stands. So-called primary circuit integral models of pressurized water reactors with high-flow medium parameters typical of such installations are the main field of application. Measurements performed at the PMK/NVH facility of the Budapest Institute for Nuclear Research showed first positive results. Based on the experience gained a microcomputer-controlled measuring system was designed. (orig.)

Das ZfK Rossendorf fuehrt Arbeiten zur Entwicklung eines Systems zur Messung der Parameter des Wasser-Dampf-Gemisches mit nadelfoermigen Leitfaehigkeitssonden fuer den Einsatz in thermohydraulischen Modellversuchsstaenden durch. Hauptanwendungsgebiet sind sogenannte integrale Modelle des Primaerkreislaufs von Druckwasserreaktoren mit den fuer solche Anlagen typischen hohen Parametern des Stroemungsmediums. Es werden erste Erfolge bei Messungen an der Anlage PMK/NVH des KFK Budapest dokumentiert. Ausgehend von den gewonnenen Erfahrungen, wurde ein mikrorechnergesteuertes Messsystem konzipiert.
