A γ-ray scanning device for the metrology of heavy radioactive waste containers

Description
A device for the nondestructive analysis by γ-ray spectrometry of heavy waste containers is described. A method similar to the so-called segmented γ-ray scanning method is applied. The calibration of the instrument is discussed and measurements of different waste forms are shown. (orig.)
