Distillation deoxidation of iron-nickel alloys during electron beam remelting
Creators
Description
Distillation deoxidation of iron-nickel alloys during electron beam remelting is discussed. The oxygen in this method is removed from the metal on account of silicon monoxide evaporation. The distillation deoxidation degree is shown to be proportional to the reciprocal of remelting rate and to the difference of silicon and oxygen concentrations
