Description
Using the Monte Carlo method electron transport in N2 was simulated. The calculations were carried out for electrons with initial energies of 0.1-10 keV. The structure of energy spectra of electron fluxes at different distances from the source is studied. The contribution of electrons from the ionization cascade into the total differential flow value is estimated. It is found that there is a typical bend in the soft energy spectrum range (10-100 eV) in the vicinity of 20-30 eV. A good agreement with the experimental results is achieved
