Description
Wheat dry seed of EN 4 is radiated at doses of 250, 300, 350 and 400 Gy by 60Co γ-ray. Irradiation effects on germination energy, germination capacity, seedling height, primary root number and root length of the wheat seed sowing after storing 0 and 150 days after radiation are measured. The results show that the germination and growth ability of wheat seed after storing 150 days are recovery compared with the wheat seed sowing right after irradiation. The radiation effects still exist after the 150d storage, but the radiation damage could be relieved by storage. (authors)
