Annual report on the Strasbourg VIVITRON, 1987
Description
Building construction and tank installation of the VIVITRON 35 MV electrostatic tandem generator was completed, the various parts being assembled and welded. Generator assembly was started. Contracts for SF6 gas supply (6 tonnes) and resistor chains were passed. The VIVITRON accelerator tube and choice of constructor were examined. The design of the injector and the elements to be installed inside the central electrode was completed. The control system is under development

Des travaux ont ete effectues sur le reservoir de l'accelerateur electrostatique de 35 MV VIVITRON, et les differentes parties sont maintenant definitivement assemblees et soudees. Le montage du generateur a commence. Les marches relatifs a l'achat du gaz isolant SF6 (poids 6T) et des chaines de resistances ont ete conclus. Le tube accelerateur du VIVITRON et le choix de son constructeur ont ete examines. La conception de l'injecteur ainsi que de l'ensemble des elements a loger a l'interieur de l'electrode centrale est finalisee. Le systeme de controle et commande est en voie de realisationFiles
