Cryogenic detectors: status and prospects
Description
The present status of cryogenic detector developments for particle physics is discussed, with emphasis on applications at the cross-disciplinary frontier between particle physics and astrophysics, where low temperature devices appear to be particularly well suited. The critical overview of to-date results is completed by a sketch of new ideas and possible ways for further improvements
