Study of complex particle emission in the pre-equilibrium exciton model
Description
In this paper, the mechanism of independent existence of complex particles in the composite system based on the exciton model is investigated. The state density of a hybrid system including the fermion and boson particles and the generalized master equation in exact closed form solution for the hybrid system are given. Using the model proposed above, the reaction cross sections of (α,α') and (α,p') for several elements (12C, 54Fe, 197Au, and 206Pb) are calculated, and the results are compared with experiments. The numerical results exhibit the characteristics of semi-direct and pre-equilibrium emission. It is found that the model can give a satisfactory physical interpretation to the experiments
