Annual report scientific activities 1990
Description
This report summarizes the activities at TRIUMF for the year 1990. A key 1990 experiment at TRIUMF was the radiative muon capture in hydrogen designed to better understand the weak forces. For the first time it accurately determined one of the key components of the weak force (the induced pseudoscalar piece). The other important milestone in 1990 was the successful technology transfer to Ebco of the TR30 cyclotron
