Description
In the work the internal friction (IF) in the stainless chromium-nickel steel of the 12Cr18Ni10Ti grade (0.12 mass. % C, 12 % Cr, 10 % Ni, Ti< 1 %) is studied. The examined material was exposed to austenite annealing at the mode: t=950 deg. C, 30 min. On the IF temperature dependences curves the two peaks were revealed at temperatures ∼5 and 70 deg. C. A low-temperature peak height depends on the deformation at the sample fluctuations, this shows on it hysteresis character. A high-temperature peak of the IF is relaxation one, and it is shifting toward the high-temperature field at fluctuation frequency increase. The conducted preliminary identification of the IF peaks opens the possibilities for more detail study of the martensite transformation features in this alloy under a diverse internal effects
