Description
Magnesium oxide (MgO) nanofibers were prepared by electrospinning process. The characterizations of the adsorbent were investigated by X-ray diffraction (XRD), scanning electron microscopy (SEM), and transmission electron microscopy (TEM). The obtained nanofibers could be used as adsorbents for the removal of Uranium (VI). The maximum adsorption occurred at pH 6, the equilibrium adsorption amount was about 90mg/g, and the equilibrium time was 120min. (author)
