Radial profiles of Reynolds stress and edge parameters in the HL-1M tokamak

  • 1. Southwestern Inst. of Physics, Chengdu (China)

Description

The radial profiles of electrostatic Reynolds stress, plasma poloidal rotations, radial and poloidal electric field have been measured in the plasma boundary of the HL-1M tokamak using multi-array Mach/Langmuir probes. In the experiments of lower hybrid current drive, supersonic molecular beam injection, multi-shot pellet injection and neutral beam injection, the correlation between the Reynolds stress and the poloidal flow in the edge plasma is presented. The results indicate that the sheared poloidal flow can be generated in the plasmas due to radial variations in Reynolds stress
