Application of photonuclear methods for radiographic analysis of rocks, ores and minerals
Creators
Description
The methods for radiographic determination of separate elements in ores, rocks and minerals exploited as applied to linear acceleration and 124Sb strong source are described. Radiographic investigations are realized in two modifications: track and activation ones. Attention is given to Be track radiography based on the 9Be(γ, n)8Be → 2α reaction as well as track radiography applying photoneutron irradiation of samples for the studying spatial distribution of B, Li, U in the sample. Activation radiographic investigations are considered
