Thermonuclear power plants

Description

Purpose: To increase the dimension, as well as the intensity of torus magnetic field in a stellarator type plasma confirming device. Constitution: The inner wall of a hollow aperture provided to magnetic material such as iron is formed into a spiral configuration and provided with a blanket. The hollow aperture is connected at one end to a vacuum pump and the other end to a fuel injector. Further, coils for toroidal magnetic field are wound around the outside of the magnetic material to form spiral magnetic field in the vacuum container surrounded with the magnetic material, whereby high temperature plasmas generated in the vacuum container are confined for a predetermined of period on the axial line of the spiral magnetic field while floated from the container wall by the magnetic force to generate thermonuclear reaction.
