Synthesis and study of TL parameters of nano crystalline Sr2CeO4 doped with europium
- 1. Display Materials Laboratory, Applied Physics Department, Faculty of Technology and Engineering, M.S. University of Baroda, Baroda (India)
Description
The thermoluminescence glow curve analysis of a Nano crystalline phosphor was undertaken in this paper. The sample was prepared by sol-gel synthesis; thereafter the thermoluminescence (TL) glow curve was recorded. A well resolved isolated peak is observed at 533K. The nano crystalline phase of the sample was confirmed by taking the XRD at room temperature. The experimentally obtained glow curve shows that this is of second order kinetics. This has been confirmed by deconvolution of the curve which fits in the experimentally obtained one thereby confirming the analysis. The results of the analysis have been discussed and presented in the text. (author)
