Glauber formula for AA scattering and the phase transition at large A
Description
The asymptotic behavior of the Glauber formula at large A is obtained for AA scattering in the model of a head-on collision between two homogeneous cylindrical nuclei. It holds in the transition of nuclear matter into a new inhomogeneous phase in which the colliding nuclei pass through one another without mixing
