Republic of Niger National Centre of Radiation Protection (CNRP) Country Report: Implementation of the Code of Conduct and its Guidance

In Niger, various radioactive Sources with different nuclides and activities are used, particularly in the private sector. The number of Sources is in progress these last years due to the great interest to Oil Exploration with the beginning of AGADEM Block Oil exploitation, in the East of the Country. The Regulatory Body for Radiation Protection, Nuclear Safety and Security (Centre National de radioprotection (CNRP)) must ensure the application of the Legislative and Regulatory Texts, and all necessary provisions of Conventions and other International Standards.
