Information about influence of the Mochovce NPP on the environment, April 2014

In this paper results of radiation monitoring of Mochovce NPP Units 1 and 2 are presented. The radioactive effluents into atmosphere within April 2014 were: 2.384 MBq of aerosols, 0.191 MBq of iodine-131, 0.105 TBq of rare gases, 1375 GBq of Tritium and 1.059 MBq of other radionuclides. For the period January - April 2014 these radioactive effluents into atmosphere represented 2.901 MBq of aerosols (0.00171% of annually limit), 0.221 MBq of iodine-131 (0.00033% of annually limit), 0.432 TBq of rare gases (0.0105% of annually limit), 3786 GBq of Tritium (31.55% of annually limit), 3.069 MBq of other radionuclides (0.279% of annually limit). Dose equivalent rates for the villages in surroundings of the Mochovce NPP in April 2014 are published. No limits set up by regulatory bodies were exceeded.
