Incorporation of tritiated water (HTO) and organically bound tritium (OBT) from food into two specific brain proteins
Description
Incorporation of tritiated water and organically bound tritium from food into glial specific proteins, S-100, and neuronal specific protein, 14-3-2, has been investigated in rats. In both examined proteins the specific activity of tritium was higher after the organically bound tritium administration than after tritiated water. The specific activity of tritium in S-100 protein was higher than in 14-3-2 protein. 48 refs. (author)
