Chiral symmetry, the elementary πN interaction and the πNN system
Description
The first part reviews the situation regarding the πN interaction at low energies. The dominated issues are the quantitative aspects of chiral symmetry breaking which are relevant for the structure of the proton. The second part deals with our understanding of the πNN system. The spin triplet problem is emphasized and the role of off-shell pions is discussed. (orig.)
