Synthesis and study of B12H11NEt3- anion salts

Description
Regularities of B12H11NEt3-anion synthesis from decaborane and triethylamineborane are studied. A technique of its synthesis with the yield up to 60% in terms of boron is developed. A technique of gravimetric determination of the anion in aqueous solutions by means of precipitation with tetraphenylphosphonium is worked out. Salts of the anion studied with cations of alkali metals and one charged onium cations are prepared. Some of their physicochemical properties are studied. Crystal structure of KB12H11NEt3 is interpreted
