Ultrasonic waves velocity in liquid nitrogen dioxide in the pressure range up to 20 MPa and the temperature range up to 450 K

Description

Ultrasonic waves velocity in liquid nitrogen dioxide in the temperature range 293-452 K and the pressure range 3-20 MPa at 2.1 MHz frequency has been measured. The overwhelming bulk of the data has been obtained for the first time. Two polynomials have been suggested that generalize the available experimental data in the covered range of the parameters of state. The proposed experimental data on ultrasonic waves velocity in liquid nitrogen dioxide can be used in engineer problems, when offering reference tables and solving the problems of correlation of thermal and caloric properties and setting up the equation of state of the given substance
