Spatially periodic dissipative structures in radiofrequency discharges with dust particles
- 1. Kiyivs'kij Unyiversitet, Kyiv (Ukraine)
Description
The influence of dust particles on the spatial distributions of plasma parameters in radiofrequency discharge is investigated using PIC/MCC computer simulation method. The simulation results show that electron and ion density oscillations are excited in the presence of large particles in the interelectrode space. The cause of their appearance is the existence of large electric field in the plasma bulk which accelerates electrons
