A solution of Wilsons loop equation in lattice QCD2

Description
The equation for Wilson's loop average recently presented by Makeenko and Migdal is solved in the large N limit for the lattice version of QCD2. The results are consistent with the solution of the same model found by Gross and Witten by saddle point methods. (orig.)
