Systematic of Incomplete fusion with strongly and weakly bound projectiles

Creators

  • 1. Nuclear Physics Division, Bhabha Atomic Research Centre, Mumbai (India)

Description

Incomplete fusion (ICF) in which part of the projectile fuses with the target have been studied extensively using both strongly (12,13C, 14N, 16O, 19F, 20Ne) and weakly bound (6,7Li, 9Be, 6,8He) projectiles. In this paper, overview of experimental techniques and available theoretical models for understanding ICF phenomenon has been given. Systematic studies of ICF, TF, particle production and reaction cross sections, has been performed based on available data and its dependence on reaction parameters
