The Hubble parameter an upper limit from QSO 0957 + 561 A, B
Description
It is shown that the cluster of galaxies that contributes to the light defection by the double quasar can only reduce the time delay, Δt, between light variations of the images. Assuming a King-type defecting galaxy, we can give an upper limit for the Hubble parameter of H/sub o/ ≤ 200 km s/sup -1/ Mpc/sup -1//Δt(yrs) and a best estimate of H/sub o/ ≅ 120 km s/sup -1/ Mpc/sup -1/Δt
