Description
This norm establishes the requirements related to the implementation and operation of radioprotection services in nuclear and radioactive installations; It presents in its scope the necessary structure for the implementation of a Radioprotection Service regarding the installations, personnel and equipment, referring to the operation of an installation; Specifies the qualifications that senior and mid-level technicians, as well as assistants, must possess in order to perform their functions in a nuclear or radioactive installation; Determines the activities to be carried out by said Service regarding the control of workers, areas, the environment and population, sources of radiation and waste, and equipment, as well as the necessary training for workers and the records to be kept
