Magnetic Properties of a Mixed Spin-3/2 and Spin-1/2 Ising Nanowire with Nearest and Next-Nearest Neighbour Interactions

Description
The magnetic properties and the hysteresis behaviours of a mixed spin-3/2 and spin-1/2 cubic Ising nanowire have been studied by the use of the Monte Carlo simulations. To investigate the effects of the exchange interaction (JA), the crystal field (ΔA) and the nanowire size (N), we have plotted the variation of the magnetizations (mA and mB) of the two sublattices and the total magnetization (MT) with temperature for different values of JA, ΔA and N. The corresponding phase diagrams and the hysteresis loops behaviour are also presented and discussed.
