Description

Positron emission tomography/magnet resonance tomography (PET/MRI) is a new hybrid imaging modality that allows simultaneous acquisition of functional PET and MRI data as well as high quality morphological MRI. Due to its complexity, planning, acquisition and interpretation of oncological PET/MRI examinations have many pitfalls and peculiarities, that will be discussed in this review.
