Description
The purpose of the paper is to review the environmental consequences of technetium 99 released together with radioactive effluents. Experiments and modelling lead to high values for the transfer factors, however these values might give a misleading and pessimistic image of the reality. Experimental measurements carried out on an adequate site should allow a better evaluation of the environmental impact of low-level, chronic or continuous releases of technetium 99

L'objet de ce document est de faire rapidement le point sur les consequences possibles pour le milieu de rejets de technetium 99, avec les effluents radioactifs. L'experience et les essais de modelisation conduisent a des valeurs tres elevees pour les facteurs de transfert, mais ceux-ci donnent peut-etre une image infidele et pessimiste de la realite.
