Creators
Description
Following a description of conventional means of meeting Finland's energy requirements the construction of nuclear power stations at Loviisa and Olkiluoto is described. Main technical data of the four power plants are tabulated; all power stations will be in operation by 1980. The introduction of nuclear power stations will enable imports of expensive fuel to be reduced, but in order to be economic, nuclear energy must power large capacity plant. (H.V.H.)
