Analysis of a two-layer emulsion chamber with l m gap
Description
A new type of emulsion chamber was exposed at Pamir. It was designed to investigate the possibility of determining of the height of nuclear interactions. This method is based on measuring the increase in the realtive distance of the two γ-rays after passing the space of 1 m between the upper and the lower emulsion layers of the chamber. The experimental results show, that the chamber of such a type makes feasible the location of the interaction point for the events, which occure within 1-2c.u. above the chamber. (author)
